Subject: Resolution Designating June 12, 2013 as "Home Matters Day" in Pennsylvania
 
Rep. Rozzi and I will very soon be offering a resolution (probably under Rule 35) designating June 12, 2013 as "Home Matters Day" in Pennsylvania. The event has been created by the NeighborWorks Association of Pennsylvania, the Housing Alliance of Pennsylvania, and Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Berks.

Home ownership is one of society's best methods of connection to our communities, and causes people to have a stake in our healthy communities. These organizations promote home ownership in a responsible way, and not through predatory lending to those unable to assume the responsibilities of ownership.

If you'd like to co-sponsor, please do so very quickly, for obvious reasons. The text is attached.
