Subject: Small Business Disaster and Emergency Relief
 
In the very near future I intend to introduce legislation which will provide economic injury resources for small business throughout Pennsylvania.

As we see the current public health emergency unfold with COVID-19, we must act to provide resources for all of the residents of the Commonwealth including our employers.

Currently, all table game revenue is directed to the General Fund. My legislation will direct those funds to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) for the creation of a zero interest small business economic injury loan program.

I am hopeful that this legislation will go a long way to help our small businesses in this current climate, while maintaining our strong commitment to their future success.
