Subject: Designating October 19, 2022 as “Libraries: Keystones of Our Communities” Day.
 
In the coming days, I will be introducing a resolution that recognizes October 19, 2022, as “Libraries:  Keystones of Our Communities” Day.

Today’s libraries are truly cornerstones of communities across this great Commonwealth. Libraries are less about what books they have on the shelves and more about what they can offer their community. Libraries serve as integral hubs of information, ideas, programs, and services for people of any age or background.

Please join me in acknowledging the immeasurable contributions made by libraries and library workers throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
