| Upon our return to Harrisburg, I will be introducing a Resolution declaring January 2013 as Stalking Awareness Month in Pennsylvania. More than one million women and almost 400,000 men are victims of stalkers annually. Most frequently, stalkers are former intimate partners and abusers of the person being stalked and 76 percent of the persons who have been murdered by their stalker have at one time been an intimate partner of the stalker.
