Subject: Resolution Designating the Week of the February 10, 2013 as the Pennsylvania Young Farmers Association Week
 
In the near future, I will introduce legislation which aims to honor and commemorate the contributions of the Pennsylvania Young Farmers Association to the Commonwealth. This legislation will designate the week of February 10, 2013 as the Pennsylvania Young Farmers Week.

As a chapter of the National Young Farmer Educational Association, the mission of the Pennsylvania Young Farmers Association is to educate and promote the environmentally appropriate production, marketing, and processing of food, feed and fiber. The Pennsylvania Chapter of the national organization was founded in 1949.
