Subject: Co-sponsorship of Legislation: Distribute Electoral Votes Proportionally
 
In the near future, I plan on introducing legislation that would distribute Pennsylvania’s electoral votes proportionally. Under my legislation, all of Pennsylvania’s electoral votes would be distributed among the presidential candidates according to their proportion of the statewide vote.

I believe the current winner-take-all system does not accurately reflect the choices of Pennsylvania’s voters during presidential elections, and a proportional distribution system would ensure Pennsylvania’s electoral votes are allocated in a fair and democratic manner.
