Subject: | Reintroduction of legislation -Conservation Corps companion bill (former HB 1242) |
In the near future, I will be reintroducing former HB 1242, which is a companion bill to former HB 1241. This legislation will amend both the State Employees’ Retirement Code and Public School Employees’ Retirement Code to allow active members of the retirement systems to purchase up to five years of prior service as a Pennsylvania Conservation Corps crew leader. The individual purchasing the service shall pay the full cost for the prior service therefore, there would be no costs to the retirement systems.
