Subject: Proposed Legislation - Amending the Liquor Code
 
In the near future, I plan to reintroduce former HB 2721 to amend the Liquor Code.

My legislation will remove the prohibition against the grant of liquor licenses at establishments that also sell liquid fuels from the Liquor Code. For many years now, the PLCB has been issuing liquor licenses for establishments that also sell liquid fuels. This provision has been in the Liquor Code since the repeal of Prohibition and is unnecessary since business owners and the PLCB have found ways to work around the provision.
