Subject: Resolution Honoring Dunmore High School's Jack Henzes as Coach of the Year
 
In the very near future, I will be introducing a resolution honoring Dunmore High School's Jack Henzes as Coach of the Year.

After 46 seasons, Coach Henzes guided Dunmore to the PIAA Class A final and a 14-2 record. This Hall of Fame coach earned coach of the year honors in Class A selected by the Pennsylvania Sports Writers. It's the second time that Coach Henzes has been honored, having been named The Associated Press Small School coach of the year in 1989.

I want to congratulate coach Henzes for his continued dedication and love of the game, as he is no doubt a a proven professional who stands by his players. Coach Henzes' career record improved to 371-153-8. His 371 wins ranks second all time in the state, behind only Berwick's George Curry, who has 423.

Please join me in honoring a great man, coach and integral community member of our Commonwealth.
