Subject: Proposed Legislation - Veteran's Appreciation Day
 
In the near future, I will be introducing a resolution that will designate July 21, 2013, as “Veterans’ Appreciation Day” in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

This year, the 25th consecutive year, a picnic will be held in Wysox, Bradford County in honor of all veterans to show appreciation for their sacrifices to allow the American people the freedoms they enjoy every day. At this year's picnic we will be honoring the four individuals who started the Veterans Appreciation Day Picnic in Bradford County, as well as the 60th anniversary of the end of the Korean War.

Please join me in cosponsoring this resolution.
