Subject: Designating a Portion of State Route 23 in West Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, as the SFC Brent Adams Memorial Road
 
I will be introducing legislation in the very near future designating a portion of State Route 23 in West Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, as the SFC Brent Adams Memorial Road. SFC Brent Adams was a native of West Hempfield Township, Lancaster County. He graduated from Hempfield High School in 1983 and later from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. SFC Adams served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard for almost 18 years and was killed in action on December 1, 2005, in Ramadi, Iraq. SFC Adams was awarded the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.

Please join me in this fitting tribute to SFC Brent Adams.
