Subject: Recognizing May 2013 as Older Americans Month in Pennsylvania
 
In the near future, I will be introducing a resolution designating the month of May 2013 as Older Americans Month in Pennsylvania. The commemoration of Older Americans Month is our opportunity to recognize the many contributions of older citizens. We must continue to provide them with support and encouragement.

This year's theme- Unleash the Power of Age, has never been more fitting. Older Americans are productive, active, and influential members of society, sharing essential talents, wisdom, and life experience with their families, friends, and neighbors.
