Subject: National Public School Volunteer Week
 
In the near future, I plan to introduce a resolution recognizing the week of April 22 through 26, 2013, as “National Public School Volunteer Week” in Pennsylvania.

National Public School Volunteer Week is a time to celebrate public school volunteers who contribute unselfishly to the success of Pennsylvania’s students, teaching, and support staff and the goals of public education.

Please join me in celebrating the role volunteerism has played throughout Pennsylvania public schools in preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s world.
