Subject: Resolution - Honoring the life of Rodney Paul Miller, Fire Chief of Loganville
 
I plan to introduce a House Resolution honoring the life of Loganville Fire Chief, Rodney Paul Miller, who died in the line of duty early Saturday morning April 27, 2013. He was struck by a hit and run DUI driver while conducting traffic control for an accident on Interstate 83 in my legislative district.

Age 45, Chief Miller was a friend and tremendous community servant. His funeral this past Friday was attended by hundreds with a funeral procession that included approximately 100 pieces of fire apparatus.

Please join me in cosponsoring this House Resolution to honor his life.
