Subject: Resolution - Honoring the 19 Arizona Fallen Firefighters

In the near future, we plan to introduce a resolution to honor and remember the 19 firefighters who gave their lives in the line of duty.

As you know, on June 30, 2013, 19 Arizona firefighters, 14 of them in their 20s, died while fighting a raging wildfire. This tragedy all but wiped out the elite 20-member Granite Mountain Hotshots, based in Prescott, Arizona, and was the deadliest single day for U.S. firefighters since September 11, 2001.

One of the members of this elite unit who lost his life was Robert Caldwell. Robert lived in Richboro, Bucks County, until about 15 years ago. He left behind a new wife and a 5-year-old stepson.

Please join us in sponsoring this resolution to remember these brave firefighters.
