House of Representatives
Session of 2013 - 2014 Regular Session

MEMORANDUM

Posted: August 28, 2013 10:20 AM
From: Representative Rick Saccone
To: All House members
Subject: Amending the Public Official and Employee Ethics Act

As elected officials and public servants at all levels, we must hold ourselves to the most rigorous measures of behavior and morality in order to earn and keep the trust of the citizenry. Our actions and those of our employees reflect not only on us, but on the people that we represent. We should strive not only to reduce corruption, but the perception of it. In the near future, I will be re-introducing several bills that will amend Title 65 and will hopefully restore the faith that people should have in their government. The four bills are as follows:

Document #1

Introduced as HB1667

Description:

Providing for further restrictions with regards to the receiving of gifts by public officials and employees.

Document #2

Introduced as HB1669

Document #3
