Subject: PLCB Store Relocation
 
Please find attached legislation that I plan to introduce in the near future to amend the Liquor Code.

My legislation would require the PLCB to enter into new leases to place stores within or next to grocery stores or beer distributor licensees. The PLCB must enter into leases for these locations as their current leases expire. I believe this legislation will make the purchasing of wine and spirits much more convenient for consumers in Pennsylvania and will substantially increase the value of the retail distribution system should the stores be privatized.
