Subject: Resolution desginating January 2014 as Rubbernecking Awareness Month in Pennsylvania
 
In the near future, I will be re-introducing a resolution from last session designating January 2014 as “Rubbernecking Awareness Month in Pennsylvania”.

Rubbernecking is one of the leading causes of single distractions while driving. Other common causes include driver fatigue, passenger distractions, adjusting the radio, and cell phone use. Let’s take a proactive approach and practice safe driving by encouraging our constituents to understand the effects of rubbernecking.
