| Subject: | Large and Small Bottle Merger Legislation |
| In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation to amend the Liquor Code. My legislation would allow liquor licensees to purchase liquor from the PLCB in the 1.75 liter bottle and pour this liquor into the smaller 750 ml bottle that they already own so long as the same brand name and product is being poured into this smaller bottle. Small businesses find it more cost effective to purchase the larger bottles of spirits; however, many of them do not have the ability to store or display these larger bottles of spirits in their bar and customer areas. Allowing them to pour the product from a larger bottle into a smaller one will save these small business people money. Thank you in advance for consideration of my legislation.
