Subject: Reintroduction of Resolution to Recognize January 2014 as "School Director Recognition Month"
 
I am re-circulating a memo to introduce a resolution designating January 2014 as "School Director Recognition Month" in Pennsylvania. This year's theme is "Celebrating Our Everyday Heroes".

A school director's position is no easy task, particularly in the current climate of school change. This resolution will be honoring school directors for the many hours spent helping our students and schools. Please join me in thanking school directors across the state for being everyday heroes and making our students' success their priority.
