Subject: PFC Donald Ray Lucas Memorial Highway
 
In the near future, I will be introducing legislation that would rename a section of State Route 144 between Old Fort and Potters Mills in honor of Private Donald Ray Lucas.

Private Lucas was killed in Vietnam on January 12, 1969. The 20-year-old Marine was fighting in ground combat with the First Marine Division in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam. Private Lucas was the only soldier from the Centre Hall area to be killed in Vietnam.

Please help to honor one of our fallen with your support to rename this section of State Route 144 the "PFC Donald Ray Lucas Memorial Highway."
