Subject: Vietnam War Veterans Day
 
In the near future, I will be introducing a bill to place Vietnam War Veterans Day (March 29th) into Title 38 (Holidays & Observances) just as it has been done for "Persian Gulf War Veterans Day" and "Global War on Terrorism Veterans Day."

In 2012, President Obama signed a presidential proclamation, designating March 29th as the annual observance of Vietnam War Veterans Day.  In 2017, President Trump signed into law the Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act of 2017, which named March 29th as National Vietnam War Veterans Day.  

Please join me in sponsoring this legislation on behalf of our Vietnam Veterans, as we continue to reinforce the message, "Welcome Home!"
