Subject: | Human Trafficking - Formerly HB 856 |
In the near future, I intend to re-introduce legislation (formerly HB 856) that would amend Crimes and Offenses (Title 18) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statues to prohibit the smuggling of human beings. Specifically, my legislation provides that a person who intentionally engages in the smuggling of human beings for profit or other commercial purpose commits a felony of the third degree. If you have any questions, please contact Elana Maynard at 705-2004 or via email at emaynard@pahousegop.com. Thank you. PREVIOUS COSPONSORS: METCALFE , AUMENT, BAKER , BLOOM, COHEN , D.
