Subject: | The American Legion Testimonial Dinner |
In the very near future, I plan to introduce a resolution recognizing The American Legion National Commander Jim Koutz and Pennsylvania Commander Joseph Cocco, Jr. Specifically, this resolution will recognize and honor both Commanders for their service to their country and The American Legion's unwavering support for their fellow veterans. The American Legion is the nation's largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans. In addition, my proposal recognizes the Testimonial Dinner, honoring these great Americans for all their hard work and dedication, which is being held at American Legion Post 272, 505 North Mountain Road, Linglestown, PA 17112 on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Please join me in co-sponsoring this legislation in support of a very important cause. |
