Subject: | Resolution recognizing the 75th Anniversary of the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh |
In the near future, I intend to introduce a Resolution recognizing one of the oldest builders associations in the country - The Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh (BAMP). Recognized nationally for its government affairs, educational and community efforts, BAMP has steadfastly adhered to its mission and goal of promoting home ownership and the improvement of the residential building industry in western Pennsylvania for 75 years. BAMP is a non-profit trade organization comprised of home builders, light commercial builders and associate members, including suppliers, subcontractors, lenders, manufacturers, utilities, realtors and architects. Originally chartered in 1938, the Association has grown to more than 1,300 members in Allegheny, Beaver, Butler and Westmoreland counties. Please join me in recognizing BAMP on its ceremonious 75th anniversary by co-sponsoring this Resolution. |
