In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation commemorating the 13th anniversary of Chatham University’s National Education for Women’s (NEW) Leadership Pennsylvania program. The NEW program is designed to educate and empower young women for future political participation and leadership that focuses on the under representation of women in politics and the role of women in politics and policy. Chatham University, located on three campuses in Allegheny County, is consistently ranked among the top master’s level institutions in the Northeast by the U.S. News and World Report and The Princeton Review. Chatham University is also ranked in the top five percent of graduate-intensive institutions nationally and experienced the fastest-growing enrollment in the Pittsburgh region over the past decade. More than 2,200 students are enrolled in Chatham’s three distinctive Colleges:
