Subject: Introduction of Highway Capital Budget
 
In the near future, I will be introducing a piece of legislation itemizing highway capital projects. This is the same bill that I introduced last session, HB 1688.

The bill adds state highway projects, to the existing list of highways authorized for design and construction. It is financed through general obligation bonds, the Motor License Fund, and Federal augmentation.

These highways will also need to be placed on the PennDOT 12-year Transportation Program.
