Subject: | Legislation for Officer Bradley M. Fox Memorial Highway |
In the near future, we plan to introduce legislation designating a portion of Pennsylvania Route 263 from West Street Road (Route 132) to West Bristol Road in Bucks County as the Officer Bradley M. Fox Memorial Highway. Police Officer Bradley Fox was a resident of Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania and a native to Warminster, Pennsylvania and was born on September 14, 1977. Officer Fox graduated from William Tennent High School in Warminster, Pennsylvania, where he was a talented hockey player. Officer Fox served in the U. S. Marine Corps where he completed two tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan and earned the rank of Staff Sergeant along with military citations, ribbons and medals. Officer Fox was a seven year veteran of the Plymouth Township Police Department and a graduate of the Philadelphia Police Canine Academy. On September 13, 2012 Officer Fox was killed in the line of duty when he and his K-9 Partner, Jake, were ambushed by a suspect they had been pursuing on foot. Please join us in honoring the life of Officer Bradley M. Fox by co-sponsoring this important piece of legislation. |
