Subject: Resolution recognizing "Local Government Week" and "Local Government Day"
 
Each year a day and a week in April are designated by the General Assembly as Local Government Day and Local Government Week to recognize and show appreciation for our local governments, their officials, employees, and the many volunteers who work hard to provide local services to their residents. The resolution will recognize April 15, 2015 as Local Government Day and April 13-17, 2015 as Local Government Week in Pennsylvania.

As the Chairmen of the House Local Government Committee, we would like to invite you to join us as co-sponsors of this important resolution.
