Subject: | Resolution: Children's Grief Day (Nov. 17, 2017) |
In the near future, I will be introducing a Resolution to proclaim November 17, 2017, “Children’s Grief Awareness Day’ in Pennsylvania. Children who have lost a loved one, especially a close family member, can carry that loss within them forever. The Highmark Caring Place is a center for grieving children, adolescents and their families. “Children’s Grief Awareness Day” was started in the Commonwealth by Highmark Caring Place in 2008 in order to help others understand the impact of death on children and their need for support. If you have any questions, please contact Margaret Tricarico at 717-772-5568 (Democratic extension 6168) or mtricari@pahouse.net Thank you!
