Subject: Sergeant Mark Baserman Memorial Bridge
 
In the near future, I will introduce legislation designating a bridge on the portion of US-219 over Walters Mill Road as the Sgt. Mark Baserman Memorial Bridge.

Sgt. Mark Baserman was a corrections officer at SCI-Somerset. He was killed in the line of duty on February 15, 2018 and an inmate has been charged with his murder. Sgt. Baserman had been a corrections officer since 2007.
