Subject: Anti-Bullying Awareness Day in PA
 
On Monday, I will be introducing legislation to recognize May 4, 2019, as Anti-Bullying Awareness Day in PA.

Along with other elected officials, I am seeking to promote awareness and encourage everyone to create new ways to make our communities and schools safe.

As part of this plan, On May 4th, Mayor Callender (City of Lower Burrell) will relinquish his position and name Nico Pampena “Mayor For The Day.” We will also proclaim May 4th as Anti-Bullying Awareness Day in the City of Lower Burrell. Nico is a 3rd grader who has been the target of aggressive bullying in recent years.
