Subject: National Logistics Day on June 28th
 
Without “logistics” your business cannot make a dime. If you cannot bring your product to the marketplace safely, you’ll never be able to sell it. The movement of supplies and goods are crucial to today’s economy. Packaging, warehousing, and shipping are all ways logistics can make or save a business money and ensure the timely delivery of the finished product.

I am introducing a resolution recognizing National Logistics Day to highlight the important role logistics plays in our economy. Whether it is a warehouse worker driving a forklift, a truck driver hauling all night long, or the tons of freight being carried by sea, rail, or through the air, our modern economy cannot function without logistics. With Pennsylvania’s highways, ports, and airports, logistics brings America’s bounty to the world.

Please join with me as we celebrate the vital logistics industry as we recognize June 28th as National Logistics Day.
