Subject: Resolution celebrating July 17 as Pennsylvania Park and Recreation Professionals' Day
 
In the near future we plan to introduce a resolution designating and celebrating July 17, 2020, as Pennsylvania Park and Recreation Professionals' Day. This resolution will honor the professionals who contribute significantly to the health, well-being and quality of life of Pennsylvanians of all ages, and to the economic vitality of our communities. The value and importance of the work of these professionals has been underscored during the COVID-19 emergency as citizens have heavily used parks and trails across the Commonwealth.
