Subject: Shane E. Troutman Memorial Roundabout
 
It is my intention to introduce legislation to designate a roundabout at the intersection of Pennsylvania Route 34 (Spring Road), Pennsylvania Route 850 (Valley Road), and Pisgah State Road in Carroll Township, Perry County, as the Shane E. Troutman Memorial Roundabout.
 
The intersection, now the location of a roundabout, is the unfortunate site where Shane died on April 18, 2016. This legislation will memorialize him and be a constant reminder to his family and the community of all the individuals who will be saved thanks to the placement of a roundabout at this location. 
 
Please join me in honoring Shane E. Troutman.
