Subject: River Pilots Rate Adjustment
 
In the near future I will introduce legislation that will provide adjustment for the River Pilots who navigate trade vessels along the Delaware River and its navigable tributaries.
 
These rate adjustments will continue to support the essential infrastructure of Pennsylvania’s waterway commerce on the Delaware River and Bay, as well as an advanced Vessel Traffic Information System that is integral to safety and security.
 
This adjustment has been agreed to by the Pilots Association, the Maritime Exchange of the Delaware River and Bay, and shippers along the river.
 
Please join me in co-sponsoring this legislation.
