| Fighting Inflation and Lowering Costs for Consumers Skyrocketing inflation is devastating working people and their families. Food prices are up more than 10%, energy costs more than 32% and the price of gasoline has doubled since President Biden took office. Experts agree that bad government policies, burdensome regulations and the worker shortage are at the root of high prices and supply chain challenges. My legislation would direct the Joint State Government Commission to establish an advisory committee to conduct a comprehensive review of state laws, regulations and procedures that are impeding the supply chain and driving up costs for consumers. We must act now to fight against inflation and take action to minimize its impact on our families and employers. I hope you will join me in co-sponsoring this critical legislation. |
