Subject: Naming of Route 322 Interchange in Memory of Officer Michael L. Henry Jr.
 
In the near future I intend to introduce legislation naming a Route 322 interchange in memory of Officer Michael L. Henry Jr. of Derry Township.
 
Officer Henry was a US Army and PA National Guard veteran, and served as a patrolman for twenty two years. Throughout his law enforcement career with Derry Township PD, he served as a MCSAP Inspector; a member of the Traffic Safety Unit (Accident Reconstruction); and his final and proudest achievement was becoming a member of the Derry Township Police Motorcycle Unit. Tragically, Officer Henry passed away as a result of complications from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash while participating in annual motor training in October, 2019.
