Subject: 2nd Class Twp Supervisor, Compensation
 
In the near future, I will be introducing legislation to remove a stagnant cap on Compensation for Supervisors in 2nd Class Townships, which has not been adjusted since 1995. 

The smallest township is limited to $1,875 annually and the largest is limited to $5,000 annually.  These supervisors end up putting in countless hours to ensure their communities are great places to live, work, and raise a family.  This bill would not mandate an increase, but simply allow the local governments to address it as they see fit.  Please join me in supporting our local elected officials by removing this limitation.
