           ROAE, CURRY, BOYD, SWANGER, JOSEPHS, YOUNGBLOOD AND DALEY,
           JANUARY 30, 2007

        REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON STATE GOVERNMENT, JANUARY 30, 2007

                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Directing the State Government Committee to examine the
     2     feasibility of limiting polling places in cities of the first
     3     class to schools and government buildings.

     4     WHEREAS, Cities of the first class are permitted to use
     5  polling places in many locations; and
     6     WHEREAS, It may be more efficient to limit polling places to
     7  schools and government buildings in cities of the first class;
     8  therefore be it
     9     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives direct the State
    10  Government Committee to examine the feasibility of limiting
    11  polling places in cities of the first class to schools and
    12  government buildings; and be it further
    13     RESOLVED, That the committee report its findings and
    14  recommendations to the House of Representatives.
