A RESOLUTION 1 Designating the week of February 9 through 15, 2003, as "Career 2 and Technical Education Week" in Pennsylvania. 3 WHEREAS, Career and technical education plays an important 4 role in preparing students for good jobs after graduation; and 5 WHEREAS, This year's theme, "Get Your Life in Gear Before 6 Time Runs Out," emphasizes the role that vocational education 7 can play in preparing students for good jobs after graduation; 8 and 9 WHEREAS, The observance of Career and Technical Education 10 Week serves to increase public understanding and appreciation of 11 the value of career and technical education; therefore be it 12 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives designate the
