           RITTER, CAPPABIANCA, OLIVER, THOMAS, EVANS, WILLIAMS AND
           JAMES, APRIL 24, 1989

        REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON RULES, APRIL 24, 1989

                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Designating the month of June 1989 as "Hire a Student Month" in
     2     Pennsylvania.

     3     WHEREAS, The current term for high school students in our
     4  schools will end in June of this year; and
     5     WHEREAS, It would be beneficial for the employers of this
     6  Commonwealth to hire these students for summer jobs; and
     7     WHEREAS, The House of Representatives deems it appropriate to
     8  encourage such hiring; therefore be it
     9     RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives hereby designates
    10  the month of June 1989 as "Hire a Student Month" in
    11  Pennsylvania.
