INTRODUCED AS NONCONTROVERSIAL RESOLUTION UNDER RULE 35, MARCH 29, 2005
A RESOLUTION 1 Designating the week of May 28 through June 5, 2005, as 2 "Pennsylvania Hiking Week." 3 WHEREAS, There are thousands of miles of trails in State 4 parks, State forests and communities throughout this 5 Commonwealth, ranging from the Appalachian Trail to the Quehanna 6 Trail; and 7 WHEREAS, Hiking through these trails provides exercise and an 8 opportunity to interact with and appreciate the environment and 9 natural beauty of this Commonwealth; and 10 WHEREAS, The Keystone Trails Association and the Department 11 of Conservation and Natural Resources are sponsoring the fourth 12 annual "Pennsylvania Hiking Week" during May 28 through June 5,
