A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 1 Memorializing Congress to designate September 11 as "National 2 Emergency Responders' Day." 3 WHEREAS, The disaster of September 11, 2001, was one of the 4 worst in American history; and 5 WHEREAS, Emergency responders significantly reduced the 6 amount of death and injury associated with that disaster; and 7 WHEREAS, Emergency responders provide a vital service to our 8 nation; therefore be it 9 RESOLVED (the Senate concurring), That the General Assembly 10 memorialize Congress to designate September 11 as National 11 Emergency Responders' Day; and be it further 12 RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be transmitted to 13 the presiding officers of each house of Congress and to each
