| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 65 (Public Officers) of the Pennsylvania |
2 | Consolidated Statutes, in ethics standards and financial |
3 | disclosure, further providing for statement of financial |
4 | interests to be filed. |
5 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
6 | hereby enacts as follows: |
7 | Section 1. Section 1104 of Title 65 of the Pennsylvania |
8 | Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read: |
9 | § 1104. Statement of financial interests required to be filed. |

11 | (b.1) Write-in candidate.--A write-in candidate for a State- |
12 | level public office or a county-level or local office who does |
13 | not seek to appear on the ballot for election shall file a |
14 | statement of financial interests for the preceding calendar year |
15 | within 30 days after the election only if the candidate intends |
16 | to take the oath of office. |

18 | Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
