AN ACT 1 Amending the act of June 29, 1988 (P.L. , No.5A), entitled "An 2 act to provide from the General Fund for the expenses of the 3 Executive, Legislative and Judicial Departments of the 4 Commonwealth, the public debt and for the public schools for 5 the fiscal year July 1, 1988, to June 30, 1989, and for the 6 payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close 7 of the fiscal year ending June 30, 1988; to provide 8 appropriations from the Lottery Fund, the Pennsylvania 9 Economic Revitalization Fund, the Energy Conservation and 10 Assistance Fund, the Emergency Medical Services Operating 11 Fund and the Unemployment Compensation Interest Fund to the 12 Executive Department; to provide appropriations from the 13 Judicial Computer System Augmentation Account to the Judicial 14 Department; to provide for the appropriation of Federal funds 15 to the Executive and Judicial Departments of the Commonwealth 16 and for the establishment of restricted receipts accounts for 17 the fiscal year July 1, 1988, to June 30, 1989, and for the 18 payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close 19 of the fiscal year ending June 30, 1988," appropriating 20 additional sums to the Department of Community Affairs for 21 the purpose of providing moneys for the Practicing Scholar in 22 Intergovernmental Cooperation Program. 23 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 24 hereby enacts as follows: 25 Section 1. Section 210 of the act of June 29, 1988 (P.L. , 26 No.5A), known as the General Appropriation Act of 1988, is 27 amended by adding an appropriation to read:

Department of 2 Community Affairs.--The following 3 amounts are appropriated to the 4 Department of Community Affairs: Federal State 5 * * * 6 For the Practicing Scholar in 7 Intergovernmental Cooperation Program, 8 total State share for a three-year 9 project to establish an internship 10 program specifically for 11 intergovernmental cooperation projects 12 in Allegheny County. 13 State appropriation........ 100,000 14 Section 2.
