A RESOLUTION 1 Recognizing the contributions of sportsmen and sportswomen to 2 the preservation and enhancement of Pennsylvania's natural 3 resources. 4 WHEREAS, Pennsylvania's natural resources of verdant forests 5 and clear clean sparkling waters are world famous, support an 6 abundance of wildlife, and provide spectacular scenic rivers; 7 and 8 WHEREAS, The sportsmen and sportswomen of Pennsylvania have 9 been, are and will continue to be committed to the protection 10 and enhancement of our rich environmental heritage; and 11 WHEREAS, Nearly 3,000,000 Pennsylvanians licensed to hunt and 12 fish play a vital role in the maintenance of our rich and 13 beautiful environment and in the abundance of fish and game; and
1 WHEREAS, This constant care and concern will ensure that the 2 natural resources of Pennsylvania remain intact or are improved 3 for future generations; therefore be it 4 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize the 5 tireless efforts of these countless Pennsylvanians and extend 6 congratulations and urge all Pennsylvanians to participate in 7 the activities on July 13, 1990, "Pennsylvania Hunting and 8 Fishing Day."
