AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Department of Public Welfare for
2 child day-care services.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $63,545,000, or as much thereof as may
6 be necessary, is hereby appropriated to the Department of Public
7 Welfare for the fiscal year July 1, 1999, to June 30, 2000, to
8 reduce the waiting list for subsidized child day-care services.
9 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
