                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending the act of June 5, 1913 (P.L.419, No.276) entitled "An
     2     act to authorize the display of the State, county, city,
     3     borough, or other municipal flags on public buildings in the
     4     Commonwealth," providing for display of the Pennsylvania flag
     5     over memorials, caskets and at funerals of certain persons.

     6     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     7  hereby enacts as follows:
     8     Section 1.  The act of June 5, 1913 (P.L.419, No.276),
     9  entitled "An act to authorize the display of the State, county,
    10  city, borough, or other municipal flags on public buildings in
    11  the Commonwealth," is amended by adding a section to read:
    12     Section 3.  It shall be lawful to display the flag of
    13  Pennsylvania over a memorial, a casket and at a funeral
    14  procession of a deceased individual who was a member or employe
    15  of a volunteer or municipal police department, fire department,
    16  ambulance service or rescue squad or a fire police organization.
    17     Section 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
