AN ACT
1 Amending Title 51 (Military Affairs) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, providing for in-State tuition for
3 Pennsylvania National Guard members.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 51 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 3211. In-State tuition.
9 Any individual who enters into a contract or takes an oath of
10 office for service with the Pennsylvania National Guard shall be
11 eligible for in-State tuition rates at State-owned universities,
12 The Pennsylvania State University, the University of Pittsburgh,
13 Lincoln University and Temple University.
14 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
